Vidyartha to felicitate Manju

The Gold Medalist Manju Wanniarachchi will be felicitated by his Alma Mater Vidyartha College kandy in his home town soon.

This was stated by Vidyartha Principal P A S Alwis.

He will discuss all the arrangements and the date with the Minister of Sports C B Ratnayake who is an old boy of the school. The Old Boys, Present Boys, Teachers and well wishers also will be present on this occasion. The present boxing coach Susantha Weerasena speaking of Manju stated that he is helping a lot to improve boxing in the school by coming every Saturday and conduct coaching classes to the boxers.

Manju is expected in his home town on October 15.
