SLIIT Matara Centre expands
The SLIIT Matara Centre |
The SLIIT Matara Centre was established in 2004 to facilitate
educational opportunities for students in the region.
The Centre admits up to 100 students for the first year of the degree
program and provides facilities for first and second year students to
follow the identical program which is conducted at SLIIT’s other
campuses.
Currently the undergraduate programs offered at the campus are the
B.Sc Special Honours Degree in Information Technology (first and second
Year) and short-term programs such as the Knowledge Worker Certificate
Program, Web Developer Program etc. by the Professional Development
Division.
FITIS leads APICTA 2010 delegation
Federation of IT Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) Chairman Govind Nangrani
will lead a delegation of over 30 ICT professionals attending the Asia
Pacific ICT Alliance Awards 2010 held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from
October 12 to 16.
Winners of national level ICT competitions from 16 Asia Pacific
countries compete in APICTA Awards in 16 different categories. |
