Moneragala District rout Badulla

Moneragala District qualified to play in the final round of the inter-district under 15 cricket tournament when they beat Badulla District by 132 runs in their Sri Lanka Cricket under 15 inter district cricket tournament match played at the Badulla Esplanade yesterday.

On Wednesday, Moneragala District beat Ampara District by 10 wickets to emerge as Uva Province champions.

Moneragala District 215 for 9 wickets in 50 overs (Sandeep Aruna 29, Lakshitha Pradeep 59, Lahiru Sandaruwan 48, Sudeera Sasintha 36, P. Sameera 2 for 26, Sasitha Anuruddha 2 for 34, D A Wanniagama 2 for 58, P Iroshan 2 for 13).

Badulla District 83 all out in 25 overs (P Iroshan 23, M A Rashika 11, Viranga Piumal 3 for 18, Lakshitha Pradeep 2 for 25, Sudesh Indunil 3 for 5).
