No quorum:
Ravi’s motion lapses
Private members’ motion presented by Ravi Karunanayake MP lapsed as
Parliament adjourned yesterday without considering it due to the lack of
a quorum.
The motion said that the holding of Cabinet portfolios by the
President and Prime Minister was not appropriate to have an effective
administration and to critically review the performance of Ministers.
The MP did not seem to have even the support of his party as it could
have easily provided the quorum for his motion to be considered. |
