Rs 300,000 jewellery found in Maligawa

Jewellery worth Rs 300,000 fallen inside the Dalada Maligawa, Kandy was found by Dalada Maligawa Police Unit.

Among the jewellery were bracelets, necklaces, rings, ear rings and bangles.

Maligawa Police Unit OIC Inspector Thusitha Halangoda handed over the jewellery to Kandy Police.

Kandy Police said the owner can obtain the jewellery by proving his identity and ownership of the items.
