Parisian Couturier Georges Hobeika who will be in Colombo for the
October 27th launch of his prestigious label to Asia at a Red Carpet
Invitees Only event at Cinnamon Grand, added two more celebrity clients
to his already illustrious list when Eva Longoria and Kim Kadarshian
chose pieces from his signature collection.

Eva Longoria selected a pink multi ruffled mini dress, while TV
personality Kim Kardashian chose to wear a beige and black cocktail
dress, during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at the David Koch Theatre in
New York City.
The exclusive Georges Hobeika launch to Asia, hosted by Business
Development Head for Asia Dinesh Chandrasena will show a retrospective
collection of Georges' favourite pieces and the MASAI Collection for
Fall/Winter 2010/11.
The latter featured in Georges' last show showcased at The Louvre in
Paris on July 5 this year, was the prelude to his next, which is in
Colombo Sri Lanka, showing his ultra luxe handmade couture wear on the
runway.
Invitees and gathered media will be presented with a show emulating
the rarefied glamour of a Parisian Couture Show, with all proceeds from
the event being channelled towards First Lady Shiranthi Wickremasinghe
Rajapaksa's cancer charity, Carlton Suwa Sevana.
The event has the strategic partnership of Standard Chartered Bank,
IWS Holdings, Kuwait Airways, Cinnamon Grand Colombo, LIVING Magazine,
HITZ FM and Ramani Fernando Salons.
Couture, the art of handmade garments denotes absolute exclusivity
and Georges Hobeikas design artistry, renowned for its intricate
beading, delicate embroidery, amazing drapes and unique fabric
combinations, have made the label one of the most sought after in the
world. His client portfolio includes Eva Longoria, Diane Kruger, Venessa
Hudgens, Selena Gomez, songstress Rihana, Holly Hunter and Hillary
Swank. Speaking from Paris, Georges Hobeika who traditionally shows at
