Fernando passes away

Dilwin Mendis - Moratuwa sports corr.

Former Cambrian Willet Fernando a great lover of cricket who held the post of General Secretary Moratuwa Sports Club in the sixties and seventies and also a past General Secretary of YMCA, Moratuwa, died at the age of 78.

His remains lie at his residence at M J C Fernando Mawatha, Idama, Moratuwa.

The funeral will take place today at 4 pm at the General Cemetery, Rawatawatte, Moratuwa.
