CIAPE EXPO-2010:
SLCBCC delegation to China
A 12 member business delegation from the Sri Lanka China Business
Cooperation Council (SLCBCC) has left the island to visit the CIAPE 2010
Exhibition, in Beijing, China.
The SLCBCC, having signed a MOU with the organizers of the CIAPE
since the First Expo in 2007, continues to serve as the sole authorized
representative in Sri Lanka for organizing the participation at the
CIAPE, from Sri Lanka.
The China International Auto Parts Expo, (CIAPE) 2010 is currently
being held at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing. This
annual event is the premier international trade show of auto parts,
accessories, electronics, and after sales sector held by the People's
Republic of China Commerce Ministry and attracts around 60,000 visitors
from all over the world.
The exhibition categories will include engine, chassis and body
systems, electronic systems, repairing and maintenance equipment and
accessories, car tuning equipment, accessories and external ornaments,
energy saving, environmental protection and new energy technologies and
products, etc.
Chinese auto parts manufacturers with a minimum annual sales volume
of yuan 10 million or export volume of US$ 1 million will take part as
exhibiting companies. Exhibitors from over 40 countries will
participate. CIAPE serves as a platform for the release and
commercialization of new products, technology and materials.
This Expo 2010 provides an opportunity to meet with world renowned
professional organizations and sourcing establishments, world auto parts
and vehicle dealers and all leading Chinese auto manufacturers,
suppliers and buyers.
It also aims to promote import and export, exploration of new
markets, investment and cooperation both in China and abroad,
interaction between R and D and production, and multilateral
communication.
CIAPE provides Chinese and international auto parts industry with an
inclusive and multi-perspective platform for exhibition, trading,
communication and cooperation.
CIAPE plays a positive role in the development of the world's
automotive industry.
An international auto parts summit forum and seminars will also be
held to discuss global hot topics, latest developments and technology
trends in the industry.
