Con woman nabbed

A woman trickster who had cheated gullible persons for money by promising jobs in Singapore was arrested by Kandy Police Frauds Unit officers at Kahalle, Katugastota yesterday.

The suspect had two previous court warrants against her, said Inspector Indula Athulathmudali. Investigations revealed that the suspect had played out nearly Rs 1.5 million from job aspirants. By constantly shifting her residence to avoid detection.
