Japanese delegation meets Minister

A visiting delegation of the Japan-Sri Lanka Parliamentary Association called on Petroleum Industries and Sri Lanka-Japan Parliamentary Association President Minister Susil Premajayantha at his Ministry yesterday and pledged to further strengthen friendship and co-operation between the two countries.

Minister Susil Premajayantha briefed the delegation about the peaceful situation prevailing in the country, a Ministry release said.

The visiting delegation comprised Hithoshi Hagihara, Hirano Hirofumi, Toshiro Ishihi. Japanese Ambassador Kunio Takahashi accompanied the delegation.
