Naved awaits ban overtrun

Pakistan all-rounder Rana Naved-ul-Hasan stepped up efforts Friday to overturn his one-year ban for violating a code of conduct following a disastrous tour of Australia.

The 32-year-old was one of seven players banned and fined after Pakistan lost all three Tests, five one-day matches and a Twenty20 on their tour of Australia between December and February, in a visit also marred by off-field problems. AFP
