Ayurvedic Dept three months massaging course

The Ayurvedic Department has called for applications from students interested in following a three month training course on massaging.

Ayurvedic Commissioner Palitha Weerakoon said the massaging course was introduced to minimize fraudulent massage clinics and to save the public from following bogus massage training courses conducted throughout the country.

He said to regularize the practice of massaging is also a major aspect of launching this course. Individuals who have passed GCE A/L and are between 18 to 45 can submit application.

Private Ayurvedic centre employees can also apply for the course, Weerakoon said.
