CDAA Meet on Sept 25

The annual all island athletics meet organized by the Colombo District Athletic Association (CDAA) will be held on Saturday (September 25, from 8.00 a.m at the Sugathadasa Stadium.

The CDAA athletic meet has been a stepping stone for many athletes to perform at national and international levels. This year the organizers have received a record-breaking number of entries - a total of more than 1500 entries for this meet. Including more than participation of 90 schools and 20 clubs.

The main aim of this event is to identify new emerging talent in Colombo District and guide them in the correct path for a better future for our country. The Association's aim of having such events annually is to produce new opportunities for building athletic potential in Colombo, evaluating their capabilities and discovering the future champions for Sri Lanka.

The national event will be powered and supported by Mihin Lanka, Hatton Natioal Bank and Traveler Global.

The President and the organizing committee invite all sports lovers to to be present at the event to experience the new emerging talents in our nation.
