Police arrest cannabis growers

Tanamalwila Police arrested three suspects who were growing cannabis in their chenas at Ambakoteara and destroyed cannabis worth Rs one million yesterday.

Police said each chena is one and half acres in extent. The suspects are to be produced before the Tanamalwila Magistrate today.
