Day light robberies

Two day light robberies had taken place in Piliyandala Police area on Sunday.

Two youth armed with a T56 weapon broke into a jewellery shop, threatened the employees and robbed Rs two million worth jewellery and fled away in a motorcycle at Piliyandala.

Two youth armed with a T56 weapon broke into a medical store, confined the employees into a room and robbed Rs 67,000 and fled away in a motorcycle at Miriswatta. Piliyandala Police are investigating.
