Two suspects who had killed a sambar for the sale of meat was arrested with the animal's carcass at Devahandiya by Ududumbara Police Sunday. The arrest was made as the suspects were trying to transport the carcass elsewhere. They were produced before Teldeniya Magistrate Sarath Premakumara and remanded.

Meanwhile, a suspect who had a leopard skin in his possession was also arrested by Ududumbara Police Sunday. He was produced before the Teldeniya Magistrate and remanded. Investigations are continuing.
