Industrial Excellence Awards in November
The Sri Lanka Chamber of Small and Medium Industries is all set to
recognize and reward high flying small and medium Industrialists at its
ceremonial sessions of the 47th anniversary to be held at “Waters Edge”
on November 3.
The main Award for this event is the “Platinum” which carries an
elegant trophy and a cash prize of Rs 50,000. Further to the “Platinum”
Award, this competition carries Gold, Silver and seven Bronze Awards.
This is the fifth year in succession this award ceremony is being
held. “This year we have opened the award competition to all the small
and medium industrialists in the country and we expect a large number of
industrialists to take part in this event,” said Chamber President Aloy
Jayawardena.
The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Sri Lanka (FCCISL),
will be sending the applications for the “Industrial Excellence Award
2010” to all their members with special emphasis for the North and East
Provincial Chambers.
A special award with a cash prize is offered to the winner from
Northern and Eastern Provincial Chambers.
The Chief Guests at this awards ceremony will be Industry and
Commerce Minister Rishard Bathiudeen and the Colombo Plan Secretariat
Secretary General Patricia Yoon-Moi Chia.
Ambassador for Cuba in Sri Lanka Nirsia Castro Guevara will be the
Honoured Guest. |
