Amresh stuns Shehan
In an amazing game of tennis that went on for
over two hours at the SLTA courts yesterday, Amresh Jayawickrama
beat top seed Shehan Gomesz 6-3 7-6. Shehan gave up in the last five
minutes of the game making three careless mistakes and throwing the
game away as Amresh who was the Junior National champion in 2008
both the under 16 and the under 18 won this quarter final with ease
and confidence.
