ODEL shares begin trading

Shares of Sri Lanka's top fashion retail brand ODEL commenced trading on the Diri Savi Board of the Colombo Stock Exchange yesterday.

Early transactions saw the price of the share move to Rs 35, as a result of investor interest. The share was offered at Rs 15 at the milestone Initial Public Offer of ODEL, which opened and closed on July 5 after it was oversubscribed a record 64 times.
