Widening the width and breadth of the future for the reality program
culture in Sri Lanka Derana Little star season 3 ended with gifting
another group of talented children for the fields of dancing and
singing.

TV Derana is known to the nation as the one of the prime
Entertainment channels which introduced meaning to the concept to
reality TV experience in Sri Lanka. In fact TV Derana contributed the
reality concept as a trend maker cum trend settler.
The Grand Finale of Derana Little Star Season 3 was held in
Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in a note of grandeur. Stars were determined
under two age categories: under 8 and 12 category, in dancing and
singing.
Stars found in the fields of dancing and singing were again
classified into the most popular little star and the most proficient
little star.
Pinidu Pinsara was the popular little star under 8 age category for
singing. This little personality has earned a great account of public
acclamation these days due to his superb performance which cannot be
expected from every child of his age.
Kavaya Devindi who is praised by the panel of judges for presenting
facial expressions in compatible with the expressions conveyed by the
song was able to bag the award for the most talented singer under the
age category of 8. While Devindi could secure the first place (the most
talented singer selected by the panel of judges) the second place was
won by Hansi Sajala.
In dancing competition under 8 Jumana Farhath was the polular little
star while Gayana Nirmanthi and Chanudhi Disanya won the first place and
the second place for the most talented dancers respectively.
Pasidu Sachintha could bad his award for the as the popular little
star in the singing competition under the age level of 12. The most
proficient little star in singing under the age category of 12 was
Ravindu Lakshan who has shown his rare ability in manipulating his
voice. Pasidu Sachintha could secure the second place for the proficient
little star for singing.
The Derana little star season 3 grand finale was a production of high
superiority in which the modern technology was employed in great deal.
However, the program ends with an indelible remark in the reality TV art
for Sri Lankan media industry in particular and reality culture in
