Free the five Cubans
America talks about human rights and, they don’t know how unfairly
they have arrested five Cuban Heroes since September 1998. They are:
1. Gerardo Hernandez Nordelo,
a graduate in International Political Relations, a famous cartoonist. He
was sentenced to two life terms plus 15 years.
2. Ramon Labanino Salz-ar,
an economic graduate. He has three daughters of 16, 10 and 6 years of
age. He was sentenced to life imprisonment plus 18 years.
3. Rene Gonzalez Sehwerert,
born in US. He is a pilot and a flight instructor. He has two daughters
of 19 and 5 years. He is imprisoned for 15 years.
4. Fernando Gonzalez Llort,
a international political relations graduate. He was imprisoned for 19
years.
5. Antonio Guerrero Rodriguez. Born in Miami, airfield construction
engineer graduate and a poet. He has two sons of 18 and 11 years. He is
sentenced to life imprisonment plus 10 years.
They are not allowed to meet or talk to the lawyers and family
people.
Their offence is thwarting terrorist attacks on Cuba by mafia
elements in Miami, USA by revealing their sinister plans in advance.
To get the five Cubans free there were plenty of campaigns across the
United States and around the world.
By preventing any contacts between the five and their defense
attorneys, the Government of the United States is violating the basic
principle of the law.
They are kept in isolated cells. They are suffering very much.
The time has came to shout from the rooftops. To go on demanding
their immediate release until it happens, unconditionally.
Freedom now for the five Cubans!
Nothing more;
Nothing less.
