TTSC Soccer Sevens on August 8
The annual Travel Trade Sports Club organized Seven-a-Side soccer
championship is scheduled for August 08. The organizers have decided to
conduct this years tournament with the co-ordination of the football
Federation of Sri Lanka said TTSC President Gerard Victoria at the press
briefing held to announce the details of the tournament at the Football
House last Wednesday.

All matches will be played at the CR & FC ground.
He said that already 20 teams from member firms have confirmed their
participation.
He further said that the tournament this year is sponsored by
Traveller Global for the first time in its history but they have assured
their sponsorship for the coming five years too.
This geture is a good sign for the game of soccer said Gerard.
The winner and the runner up are to receive trophies and cash awards
in there will special awards too. Chairman/ Managing Director Rizmi
Reyal addressing the gathering said that he is proud to be associated
with TTSL and requested all involved in the travel Trade Industry to
encourage their members to take part in soccer because Football is the
most popular sport in the world patronized by the majority of the
population.
The teams confirmed their participation are - Taj Exotica, The
Traveller Global, Jetwing Travels, Ceylon Continental, The Traveller
Global Destination, The Blue Waters, Walkers Tours, Taj Samudra, The
Traveller Global 'A', Club Bentota, Amaya Hills, Amja Travels, Expo
Aviation, Air Global, Mount Lavinia Hotel, Gabo Travels, Classic
Travels, Galileo, Qatar Airways and Shan Travels. |
