A range of tropical fruits, nuts and berries have made their way to
Barista Lavazza's newest range of beverages. Recently launched in all
its outlets this sweet delight comes in 25 varieties to tantalize your
taste buds and add a boost to your lifestyle.
Brewed out of a perfect blend of Arabica beans, Barista has been a
synonymous brand with coffee lovers in the country. According to
Training Manager Shalinda Hewapathirana the key to their success is the
quality of the machines which grounds and whips up the beverages, the
standard of the grinders, the balanced coffee mixtures and the manner in
which they can infuse coffee to stimulate their customer's tastes.

The concepts stems from Italy and was introduced to Sri Lanka in
2002. With orange washed walls and spacious interior, the Barista
outlets are the places to relax and unwind your thoughts with a warm cup
of coffee. Now with the new range one can spend a pleasant afternoon
with friends and family indulging on a range cold and hot fruity
flavours. Delicious short eats are also on offer from cakes, muffins and
rolls to a variety of snacks and sandwiches. Barista offers customers an
assortment of dishes for morning or lunch. One can even work while they
indulge because the outlets are quipped with Wi-Fi facilities. "All the
ingredients are brought from our market. We only import the Arabica
beans. Though there are two kinds of coffee beans in the world, Arabica
is higher in quality than Robusta," Barista CEO Suresh Jayawardana said.
He added that unlike in other coffee shops Barista Lavazza changes
its menus every four of five months to meet the public demand as well as
provide a whole new experience for them.
"For example if you taste the Black Forest Blast you would realize
that it is like eating the Black forest cake itself. Our signature items
such as the Muffin Shake, a thick shake finely blended with blueberry
muffins topped with caramel flavour is like having a meal," he noted
adding that all the products have been included in the list after much
beackground research and experiments. |
