New UK Visa Centre opens at Union Place

A new Visa Application Centre was opened at Union Place for UK visa customers in Sri Lanka recently.

The new facility was opened by British Deputy High Commissioner, Mark Gooding. UK Border Agency Operations Manager (South India and Sri Lanka) Linda Smith, VFS Global Operations Head (South Asia) Anil Katoch and invited guests and media attended the opening.

"I am delighted to be able to open this application centre. These new improved facilities, including, a premium lounge, are testament to the importance we attach to our UK visa operation here. It also shows the commitment of the UK Border Agency and its commercial partner, VFS Global, to providing UK visa customers in Sri Lanka and the Maldives with an efficient and enhanced customer service," Gooding said.
