Sixteen cueists will vie for honours

The knock-out stage of the 58th National Billiard Championship conducted by the Billiards and Snooker Association of Sri Lanka (BSASL) will get underway at its headquarters at Reid Avenue today with 16 of the best cueists vying for the honours.

There were 106 cueists seen in action at the District stages earlier in the tournament in three occasions in Kandy, Colombo and Galle.

The knock out stage will commence at 1.30 p.m. when four games will be played, followed by another four starting from 4.00 p.m. The knock out stage will continue tomorrow and the finals will be played on July 24 followed by the presentation ceremony.
