The Tharu Dilena Reyak, a grand musical gala organized as a fund raiser for construction of the Abimansala wellness Resort for the totally dependent War Heroes, will be held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium at 7 p.m. today.

The Abimansala, a novel concept mooted by the Army Commander under ‘Brave Hearts’ project organized by the Army Seva Vanitha Unit under the guidance of its president Manjulika Jayasuriya.

Tharu Dilena Reyak is aided and supported by veteran and popular actresses, Anoja Weerasinghe and Sabeetha Perera and popular singing idols, Bathiya and Santhush. The internationally-recognized dancer cum choreographer, Chandana Wickramasinghe plays a pivotal role.

This centre for rest and recreation is to accommodate 52 totally dependent War Heroes who lost their legs and limbs to safeguard the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of the motherland.

Tickets for the show performed by artistes and young stars of different talents are available at all major Cargills Food City malls and at the main entrance to the stadium. Tickets are priced at Rs. 5,000, Rs. 2,000, Rs.1,000, Rs.750 and Rs.500.
