The Colombo National Hospital holds free health camps for State
sector employees under the Health Ministry’s Suwa Udana program. The
objective of this program is to assist State sector employees to keep
themselves healthy, a Health Ministry spokesman said.
A free health camp was conducted by the Colombo National Hospital
recently for the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC) employees.
A large number of employees took part in the health camp. It offered
them various blood tests, eye testing, dental clinic and other services.
Earlier the same type of free health camps were conducted at the
State Printing Corporation and many other Government institutions.
Free health camps will also be conducted in rural areas under the
Suwa Udana program. These health camps offer people free scanning, Xray
and many other expensive medical tests. |
