Old Vidyarthians have it easy

Old Vidyarthians Sports Club, Kandy, came up with a fine performance to defeat Aniewatte Sports Club, Kandy 4-1 in their Kandy District Men's Under-21 Hockey Tournament organized by the Kandy District Hockey Association for AIM Anwar Memorial Trophy played at the University Grounds, Peradeniya. At half time Old Vidyarthians led 1-0.

Sounding the boards for the winners were centre forward RP Sampath (2), left extreme A Seneviratne (1) and centre half SP Padmakumara (1). For the losers right inside PTA Jayasinghe scored.
