Cambrians win by 64 runs

Prince of Wales college beat Sri Jayawardenepura College, Kotte by 64 runs in their inter-school under 17 division one tournament cricket match worked off at Moratuwa.

Cambrians taking the first lease were all out for 199 runs with Eshan Fernando scoring 47 runs. C.I. Ekanayake captured 5 for 27.

In reply Sri Jayawardenepura College were all out for 135 runs with some resistance coming off the bat of A. Abeysiriwardene who made 32 runs.

Cambrians: 199 - in 48 overs (Eshan Fernando 47, Amila Sudesh 30, B.U. Rupasena 31, Primesh Fernado 21, C.I. Kariyawasam 5/27, K.A. Britto 2/33.)

SJC - Kotte: 135 - in 45.4 overs (A. Abeysiriwardene 32, Eshan Fernando 3/20, Nishka Supun 2/23, Nimesh Jayawardene 2/22.)
