Navy rescues four

Sri Lanka Navy vessels on petrol in the North Western seas rescued four persons who had illegally embarked on the 7th Sand Bank of Adam’s Bridge which spreads between Rameshwaram and Talaimannar on July 6.

Sri Lanka Navy vessels on petrol in the North Western seas rescued four persons who had illegally embarked on the 7th Sand Bank of Adam’s Bridge which spreads between Rameshwaram and Talaimannar on July 6.

These persons are Sri Lankans who had left the country some years ago and returning from India. They are believed to have been dropped on the Sand Banks by a fishing vessel.

Then were handed over to Thalaimannar Police.
