Joes pull out from Milo rugby tourney

St. Joseph's College have decided to pull out from the Milo Schools President's Trophy knock out rugby tournament which is scheduled to commence on Thursday at the Royal College Sports Complex in Reid Avenue.

The Josephians who recently clinched the Singer Inter School Under 20 division one group 'B' league title were scheduled to meet their traditional rivals St. Peter's College in the second quarterfinal fixture. Severe injuries which they suffered during the last two matches against Mahanama MV and S. Thomas' College are the main reasons for their decision to pull out from this tournament.

However their annual inter school fixture against St. Peter's College is likely to take place during the last week of July. C.D
