Public Administration and Home Affairs Deputy Minister Dilan Perera
said the United Nation's Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's decision to
appoint a panel to probe into Sri Lanka's internal conflicts was not a
decision of the United Nations but his arbitrary decision. He made these
observations in Parliament yesterday participating the committee stage
debate of budget proposals.
He said Ban Ki-Moon has reached this decision arbitrary for the need
of certain henchmen of the West. Deputy Minister said Bank Ki-Moon is
the Secretary General of United Nation of which Sri Lanka, Rusia, China
and many other countries are members. Decisions should be reached with
the consent of its member countries.
"Sri Lanka cannot kneel before Ban-Ki-Moon's arbitrary decisions"
Dilan Perera stated. "We should know he is not the Secretary General of
an organization in the moon but on earth he said. |
