Mother Sri Lanka Gampaha branch community project

A community project organised by the Mother Sri Lanka organisation's Gampaha district branch was held recently.

Mother Sri Lanka organisation Chairman Janaki Kuruppu was the chief guest.

Jaffna Rehabilitation Commissioner Brigadier Sudantha Ranasinghe, Western Provincial Council member Ajith Manapperuma (UNP), and Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Ranjith Gunawardhana (PA) were also present.

Artificial limbs, arms, crutches, wheel-chairs, hand crutches and tricycles to disabled soldiers and people, tree plants to schools, Budu pilima to 30 devotees and exercise books to 80 school students were also donated.

A tree planting campaign and cleaning of the Miriswatta junction were also held.

This project was co-ordinated by Mother Sri Lanka organisation's Gampaha district Chief Organiser, Lakshman Ariyaratne Co-ordinating Secretary Chandani Ariyaratne and Chairman Ven. Karabewe Seevali Thera. This project was sponsored by Dr. Chanaka Dissanayake of Gampaha, Ranjan Senanayake and several others.
