Heroin peddler arrested

The Galle District Special Crime Investigation Unit arrested a suspect for possessing 4.5 gms of heroin, near the Mahamodera Bridge, Galle.

The Police said the suspect, a resident of Heenatigala, Habaraduwa was a drug peddler and had been earlier convicted for robbery of gold jewellery from a Finance Company in Galle a few years back.
