Korean doctors to hold free medical clinics
A team of Korean doctors will arrive in the country to hold a series
of free medical clinics, a press release issued by the Sri Gnanarathana
Pirivena at Makandugoda, Thalpe, said. The series of clinics has been
organised by the Korea-Sri Lanka Buddhist Centre, Happy Society
Foundation of Habaraduwa and the Sri Gnanarathana Pirivena. Korea-Sri
Lanka Buddhist Centre Head, Ven. Attaragoda Piyananda Thera Mahanayake
of Sri Kalyaniwansa Mahanikaya, Ven.
Dodampahala Chandrasiri Thera, Chief Incumbent of the Yapahuwa Raja
Maha Vihara Ven. Meegammana Sirirathana Thera, Chief Incumbent of Sri
Wijayaramaya, Ven. Andiambalame Mahanama Thera Chief Incumbent of the
Mihintalawa Raja Maha Vihara, Ven. Namalwewa Rathanasara Thera,
Education Deputy Minister T. B. Ekanayake and Happy Society Foundation
Chairman in Korea, Ven. Dae Pung will participate as guests of honour
during these clinics.
The clinics will be held as follows: 2010.07.05 - Mihintalawa Raja
Maha Viharaya. 2010.07.06 - Yapahuwa Raja Maha Viharaya. 2010.07.09 -
Vidyaloka Pirivena, Galle. 2010.07.10 - Science Centre, Galle.
2010.07.11 - Habaraduwa Katukurunda Dharmika Maha Vidyalaya.
The two clinics to be held on July 9 and 10 in Galle are reserved for
a limited number of patients. The clinic on July 11 at Habaraduwa is
reserved for Sunday Dhamma School teachers of the Southern Province. |
