Budget proposal second reading vote today

Vote of the second reading of the Budget proposals will be taken up today at 6 p.m.

The second reading stage of the budget proposals presented to Parliament by acting Finance Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama commenced Wednesday.

The committee stage reading of the Budget will commence next Monday. Its vote will be taken Tuesday.
