Harsha Nilantha passes away

Ragama CC cricketer Harsha Nilantha a very fine fast bowler and a more than useful batsman passed away under tragic circumstances in Padukka on Sunday.

Nilantha who played all his cricket for Ragama CC after leaving school was just 28 years of age at his sad demise. An oldboy of De Mazenod College Kandana Nilantha played 16 First Class games for Ragama and had 46 wickets including a return of ten wickets in a game against a Strong SSC side.

Nilantha also had two stints with the English Leagues too. He leaves behind his parents and two younger brothers. The funeral will take place on Wednesday at Kandana.
