Working class salutes Govt stand

The working class movement salutes the bold stand taken by the Government against the UN interference in our internal affairs.

External Affairs Minister Prof. G. L. Pieris has made a timely statement strongly protesting regarding the uncalled for action by the UN Secretary-General Ban ki-Moon to appoint a Panel of Experts to probe into our internal affairs. We are an independent country with our own self-respect.

We will not be cow down to foreign threats from whichever quarters they would emanate.

We will solve our own problems to the satisfaction of our own people, without giving into foreign threats and conspiracies.
