Wesley expected to threaten Kingswood

Kingswood College, Kandy will face no difficulty in overcoming Wesley College, Colombo in their annual L.E. Blaze Trophy rugby match to be played at the Bogambara stadium in Kandy today at 4.30 pm. This match is also a part of schools President Trophy under 19 Division One Segment Rugby Tournament.

Kingswoodians last week came up with a superlative performance to defeat St. Thomas College 22-17 at Mount Lavinia to keep themselves in line for the runners up forth in the race for schools league title.

The Kingswoodians should win this match if they are to end up as runners up. This is not beyond them.

Wesley College on the other hand after a string of poor performances, came good two weeks ago when they beat Dharmaraja College at the Bogambara stadium.

This match being played for a trophy, the Wesleyites are expected to put up a strong fight.
