Isipatana edge out Dharmaraja -19/17

Isipatana College, Colombo met unexpected challenge from Dharmaraja College before they squeezed through to a 19 points (1 goal, 4 penalties) to 17 (1 goal, 2 tries) win in their schools Under-19 Division One Segment ‘A’ rugby tournament match played at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy yesterday. At half Isipatana led 13-12.

Rajans dominated the early stages of the game and it was the kicking boots of Patana’s Malik Jumath which brought them victory. Jumath contributed no less than 10 points with his boots.
