Hiding robbers netted

A four member robber gang alleged to have involved in rape cases and burglaries were arrested by Kandy Police while hiding in the Wakare Forest Reserve.

The robbers had burgled a number of houses in the Ampitiya Area and stolen jewellery worth over Rs 400,000 and the police were able to recover some of the jewellery.
