The main dining area can easily accommodate 40 guests for lunch and
dinner. The upper lounge has seating capacity for 24 persons. The
tastefully decorated private dining room can accommodate up to 16
persons.
The Garden has a soothing and homely atmosphere and is popular for
garden parties. The garden can accommodate up to 150 persons for dinner
or cocktails. Karaoke facility is available for those who want to try
their vocal skills.

The Company is headed by Tony Bohoran, a professional chef who has
made a name for himself in the culinary circles of Colombo. He has been
in the food industry for over 25 years and has a degree in Professional
Cookery from the Ceylon Hotel School and School of Tourism in addition
to a degree from the American Hotel and Motel Association. ‘Most of the
time we serve food with a blend of flavours in Western and Eastern. For
Eastern food we use ginger, lemon, tamarind, goraka etc. We experimented
with local spices and added these Eastern ingredients to make delicious
Western food’, said Bohoran.

‘When we prepare Western food we have to add a lot of cheese, wine
and cream. Then we don’t have Sri Lankan flavour in these dishes. So I
introduced to blend of Eastern and Western flavour and make new fusion
food which has a strange flavour. We call it fusion food’, he said
proudly.
Located in Bagatale Road, Colombo 3, Raffles Restaurant was opened in
2003 and proved a hit with customers who were both Sri Lankan and
foreigners. They serve executive buffet lunch and dinner daily on ala
