Murder case suspect killed

A suspect of a murder case detained in remand jail and later released on bail was killed by attacking with a club and a sword. This murder was committed in Sirigampala, Vennappuwa on June 2 and the deceased was Saman Buddhika Asela Kumara (28) of Sirigampala. The cause of the murder was an old feud.

The man who was killed was wanted by the police in connection with extortion case and several other cases. Two persons along with the sword have been taken into custody. Vennappuwa police is investigating further.
