IIFA Weekend specials at Tea Lounge, Cinnamon Grand

In celebration of IIFA weekend, the Cinnamon Grand hosts over 20 mega superstars of Indian cinema from the 3rd to the 5th of June as they visit Sri Lanka to attend the 11th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards. Cinnamon Grand is the official IIFA hotel.

Take this opportunity to see the stars in the hotel's newly refurbished Lobby as you enjoy some delicious finger food! No matter what time you come to the Lobby, be it at 9.00 am for a light breakfast, 12.00 pm for a light lunch, 3.00 pm for high tea, 6.00 pm for canapés or 9.00 pm for supper, you just might bump into your favourite star! Tea Lounge remains open during the IIFA weekend period with a series of fabulous meals throughout the day, with scrumptious snack food to occupy you as you watch the stars go by! From 9.00 am to 12.00 pm, guests can indulge in a light breakfast buffet at the Tea Lounge which includes an assortment of breakfast pastries, cereals, cheese platters and kiribath with accompaniments for those who enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan touch.

The lunch menu includes a selection of sandwiches, salads, soups, two hot dishes and desserts. A special IIFA High Tea will also be offered at Tea Lounge on the 3rd and 4th of June from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm, bringing guests a grand spread. On the menu is a selection of assorted finger sandwiches, warm savouries, a range of mini cakes and pastries and freshly baked homemade fruit scones.
