Khans get together at IIFA
After a lapse of five years Shahrukh Khan will take part in the 11th
International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2010 that will be held
in Sri Lanka from June 3 to 5 according to desiblitz.com
King Khan will not only be performing at the event but he will also
be the captain of the Bollywood cricket team during the charity cricket
match between the Indian artistes and Sri Lankan cricketers.
Dismissing rumours that he might not attend the event due to his not
so 'warm' relationship with IIFA Brand Ambassador Amitabh Bachchan, SRK
revealed that he is very much looking forward to visiting the isle and
performing at the grand finale at the star-studded event.
Another Khan who will be performing at the Micromax IIFA Awards is
IIFA Charity Ambassador Salman Khan.
He had recently announced at a press conference that he and Habitat
for Humanity are going to donate around US$ 100 000 to construct 100
houses in the North.
The award ceremony will be hosted by Boman Irani, Riteish Deshmukh
and Lara Dutta. Other Bollywood celebrities like Saif Ali Khan, Kareena
Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi
will also perform.
