ANCL Vesak lantern contest
The Amadahara Vesak Sadaham Kalapaya organized by the Associated
Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL) under the patronage of Telecom, ITN
and Lak Handa will be held from May 27-29 opposite Lake House.

The Vesak Lantern Competition and exhibition will be a highlight of
the celebrations.
The first five winners will be awarded Rs 200,000, Rs 150,000, Rs
100,000, Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000.
The sixth to 10th winners will receive Rs 10,000 each. The other
winners will receive Rs 5,000 each.
The Vesak Bakthi Gee by Lake House employees and a Bhakthi Gee
concert by popular singers will also be held.
A dansala has also been organized for devotees. |
