Karateka Dhanuka Fernando, Grade Seven student of Royal College, Colombo has won several championships in Sri Lanka and India recently.

He has won Under-13 Indo Cup 2009, Third Schools Junior Karate Championship 2008, All Island Schools Junior National Kata Championship 2009, All Island Schools Karate Training Pool 2008 and 2009.

Dhanuka also won the Fourth Schools Junior Karate Championship 2009, Provincial Schools Karate Championship 2009, Under-13 Asian Open Karate Championship 2010, All Island Schools Karate Championship 2009 and Royal College Inter House Karate meet 2010.
