Budusarana Oratorical contest

The oratorical contest organized by the ‘Budusarana’ Buddhist weekly in collaboration with the NSB and the Lake House Buddhist Association to coincide with the ANCL sponsored 48th Mihintale Aloka Pooja will be held at the Mihintale MMV premises on June 5. It is open to students in daily schools and daham pasalas in the NCP.

The contest will be held in junior and senior categories for students in grades six to nine and 10 to 13 respectively. Winners will be awarded cash prizes in addition to the Piyasena Nissanka and D.R. Wijewardene Memorial Trophies. Closing date for applications is May 25.

Applications should be sent by post to Editor, Budusarana, Lake House, Colombo 10 or handed over to the Lake House Branch Office, Anuradhapura.

The Mihintale Aloka Pooja will be held from June 24 to 26.
