AISEX, FASE apparel fair in November

The Apparel Industry Suppliers Exhibition (AISEX) and the Fabric and
Accessory Sourcing Exhibition (FASE) to position Sri Lanka as the
preferred meeting place for the clothing industry of the South Asian
Region.
The two exhibitions are scheduled to be held from November 25 to 27,
at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre (SBMEC) and the
Banquet Hall of the BMICH respectively. It will offer total industry
solutions to the region’s apparel export industry.
The AISEX and FASE exhibitions are organised by the Sri Lanka Apparel
Institute and Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services (LECS), supported
by the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF), the umbrella apparel
industry representative body of Sri Lanka.
“What is new this year is that we are putting a great effort into
making Colombo a focal point in the South Asian region. We are looking
at forging links with professional bodies in India, Pakistan and
Bangladesh and will strengthen regional marketing efforts to make the
exhibitions a truly regional event,” Sri Lanka Apparel Institute
