Royal face tough task against Antonians

Royal College who have notched up three successive wins face a tough task when they confront St. Anthony’s College, Kandy in their Singer under 20 division one schools rugby match at the Royal College Sports Complex today.

The Antonians who began the season with two successive defeats at the hands of Kingswood (10-23) and S. Thomas (12-15) came up with a sterling display to crush Wesley by 51 points to 8 last week and will go all out to topple the Royalists today. The lads from Reid Avenue overcame Prince of Wales (35-6), Wesley (12-0) and Dharmaraja (27-5) in their first three matches.

Peterites-Rajans

The Peterites who are going great guns this season should have no difficulty in overcoming Dharmaraja at Bambalapitiya to register their fourth successive win for the season.

The Peterites who are well on their way to clinch the Singer under 20 division one title have scored three runaway victories over Isipatana (27-8), Trinity (31-10) and Prince of Wales (164-0).
